RLAG!

This morning I received this image from my friend, Julie Arduini. Julie is a writer with www.christianwritersforum.com as well as several other sites. It was such an encouragement to me, I thought I would share it with you all.
Some of you know that “Run like a Girl” is the name of my new book, being published by Howard Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. RLAG is phrase that I find empowering in my own life. It is another way of saying pursue those things that move your soul, that touch your heart and ignite your imagination. It says run in your truth and stay authentic to the way God made you. Of course, this requires us to figure what those things are and to put ourselves on our own list. I have never met a woman yet, who didn’t think God had a big mission for her and yet, sometimes this is the assignment that gets in her way.
I saw a sign recently that caught my eye, it read, “Be Brave, You Were Made For This” What a message! What if you and I could walk 100 % of the time with that certainty? How would that change things? What if we didn’t waver back and forth over whether we were smart enough, thin enough, had it together enough, or maybe just enough? RLAG means surrendering up the idea that any of us are enough and embracing God’s track record of choosing flawed, misfits to work through. He has the long view of us!
RLAG encourages you to take pride in the passionate nature of the way you move through this life, taking on risks, and adventures that others shy away from.
RLAG is about staying fluent, sequencing from one mission to the next, always acknowledging the girl inside, who dares you to explore, experiment and make a difference.
Finally, RLAG is a call to give up the notion of living comfortable, safe or predictable lives. RLAG is a life perspective that invites you to dive face first into life with all that you have and to ask one question, “ What comes next God?”
So today, I want you to think about what you would be doing if you heard God say “Be Brave, You Were Made For This!”
RLAG! The world is waiting…
