Meet the Coach

My journey to this place began in a high school hallway lined with young men holding cards with numbers that they were using to rate the teenage girls coming through the door. I remember standing at that doorway feeling stuck and very alone.

Suddenly, my creative writing teacher appeared at the other end of the hall. He was the “cool” teacher; the kind of teacher girls had their first crush on. He sprinted to where I stood, grabbed my arms and began waltzing me down the hallway, while singing “Strangers in the Night” so loudly and with such verve that both jaws and rating cards dropped to the floor. I never forgot how wonderful that freedom felt to waltz down that hall, fearless, laughing and not quite believing how it all turned out, but recognizing clearly that I had stepped through a door in my life.

Today, I am the advocate at the other end of the hall for my clients, life coaching them over the phone in 30-45 minute sessions. I work with brilliant, successful women who feel stuck, sometimes fearful, or just sure that there must be more for them. My job is to help them step through the doorways of their lives to reinvent, reclaim and re-ignite the spark for their next great adventure!
